OBITUARY
li jfr. Paul Eubanks, Jr. was born on
/ V j November 6, 1918 to the late Rev. Paul E. and Frances Jones Eubanks in Aiken County, South Caro lina. He departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 1998 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center Uptown Division in Augusta, Georgia.
He was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia where he taught Sunday School for many years.
He was a Staff Sergeant in the United State Army during World War II and was employed as an Engineer at Sweetheart Cup Company for thirty-six years.
He was united in holy wedlock to the former Miss. Carrie Lue Crafton in 1959. To this union one child was born.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his devoted wife, Carrie C. Eubanks, Augusta, Georgia; one son, Paul Eubanks, III, Augusta, Georgia; one Godson, Michael Shelton, Augusta, Georgia; four sisters, Irene E. Craig, Aiken, South Carolina, Marie E. Stevens, Freeport, New York, Ruth E. Mayo, North Babylon, New York and Louise E. Williams, Columbia, South Carolina; three brothers, Robert L. Eubanks, New Ellenton, South Caro lina, Thomas, J. Eubanks, Roosevelt, New York and Franklin T. Eubanks, Columbia, South Carolina; two aunts, Elizabeth Jones Spells and Gertrude Moody Jones, both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two sisters-in-law, Janie Eubanks and Edwina Eubanks; seven brothers-inlaw, Jessie Craig, Norman Mayo, Ernest Williams, James Crafton, Eddie Crafton, Rosemond Crafton and Walter Crafton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

DON'T GRIEVE
Don't grieve for me for I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His Hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found the peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah, yes these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Don't lengthen my life now with undue grief, Lift up your hearts and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.
