** OBITUARY **
Rosa M. Eden was born in Knoxville, Tenn., on May 4, 1930. She departed this world October 18, 1983 in Nashville, Tenn. She went to New York City at an early age, finished high school there and graduated from Delaney Institute of Technology where she studied nursing. Rosa believed in helping the sick. She worked at various Veterans Hospitals including Ft. Gordon and the V. A. Hospital at Forest Hill here in Augusta.
She wanted to help the sick. She asked and got her wish. Six months is all she wanted. Rosa passed away when her wishes were fulfilled. She studied the Bible from front to back. When she passed away, the Bible was in her hands. She was reading the books of Acts and James I.
Survivors are her husband, Mr. Cleveland L. Eden, Hephzibah, Ga.; three sons, Cleveland L. Eden, III, Abilene, Texas, Vernard Eden, Huntsville, Texas, Lloyd Eden, Augusta, Ga.; three daugh ters, Mrs. Louise Valentine, Mrs. Cecelia Davis, Mrs. Denise Wil son, California; mother, Mrs. Louise Willis, New York; eight grandchildren, Gerald, Gerelle, Howard, Olivia, Micha, Verna, Tracia, Susie; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Karen Eden, Abilene, Texas; three sons-in-law, adopted sister, Mrs. Louise Smyre, Heph zibah, Ga.; nephew, Richard Eden, New York, N. Y., cousin, Henry Smithers, Knoxville, Tenn., and a host of other relatives and friends.
