Obituary
was
bom on December 18, 1963 to Eddie and Chartine Caldweli in Augusta, Georgia. Dierdra entered into eternal rest at her residence on November 22, 1999.
"DeeDee" as she was known later moved with her parents to Newark, New Jersey. It was in New Jersey at Mount Zion Baptist Church where DeeDee found and received the Lord.
Upon returning to Augusta, DeeDee attended and graduated from Aquinas High School, and became a member of Thankful Baptist Church. She later joined the church family at Servants of God Baptist Church. DeeDee continued her education at Savannah State University, where in 1990 she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. While at Savannah State she became a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and later served as Vice President. It was also at Savannah State where the flames of love over-heated between DeeDee and her loving husband, Charles Horace. She and Charles were united in Holy Matrimony on August 13, 1994. At the time of her death, DeeDee was employed at the Savannah River Site (SRS) where she developed many friendships.
DeeDee leaves to celebrate her homegoing, her beloved husband, Charles Horace Eagie; one daughter, Barbara DeYonna; parents, Chariine and Eddie Caldweli, Union, New Jersey; one brother, Gregory Taylor, Atlanta, GA; grandfather, Fioyd Dunn, Sr., Augusta, GA; grandmother, Annabell Jones; father-in-law, Horace Eagle; aunts, Vanessa Herbert, Hephzibah, GA, Rita Kelly, D. Daggett, Louella Gracy, Jessie Gracy, Glenda Caldweli, Juanita Caldwell, and Sandra Dunn, all of Augusta, GA. Leveme Troop, Kaleen, TX; Catherine Johnson, Las Vegas, NV; Francis Caldwell of Florida.and Jacqueline Downs, Harlem, GA; uncles, James Herbert, Hephzibah, GA, William Gracy, Jr., Bernard Gracy, Franklin Caldwell, Marion Caldwell, all of Augusta, GA, Brian Troop, Kaleen, TX, and Irvin Caldwell of Florida, Roy (Lavetta) Jones, Ronald (Vivian) Brooks, Floyd Dunn, Jr. Harlem, GA; great-uncle Dankie Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mommie,
I love you, Im sad you had to go. I didnt get to speak to you before you left. The day before at our home blessing you said you were tired and went to bed. I came up and gave you a kiss good night. I didnt know it would be our last one, but Im glad I did. Im sorry you had to leave me but Ill always have you in my heart.
