** LOVING TRIBUTES **

Mrs. Julia Jones Drummond the daughter of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs and Mr. Peter Jacobs peacefully embarked on her home going, Thursday, June 27, 1974 at 4:00 P. M.
She was a native of Screven County and proudly recalled the memories of Springhead M. E. Church where she was converted and joined at an early age.
After uniting in holy matrimony to Mr. Paul Jones, who preceded her in death, she moved to Millen, Ga., where she dilligently worked with the Missionary Society, Choir, Sunday School and Stewardess Board. After moving her member ship with the Nannie E. Williams M. E. Church there she united with the Miles Memorial C. M. E. Church, where she worked and served faithfully on the Mission ary and Stewardess Boards until her health failed her.
She was united in marriage to Mr. W. S. Drummond who preceded her in death some years ago.
To know "Mama Julia," as she was affectionately called, was to love her. She loved God, she loved her family, she loved her church, she loved people.
She has been immortalized by five daughters: Mrs. Nollie Mae Twiggs, Mrs. Zadel Haynes and Miss Sandra D. Lewis, Augusta, Ga.; Mrs. Rubye Cohen and Mrs. Pauline Griggs, New York City; Three adopted daughters, Mrs. Emma R. Gresham, Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Marion Evans, St. Thomas, V. WHEN I MUST LEAVE YOU
When I must leave you for a little while-
Please do not greive . -... and shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years.
But start out bravely with a gallant smile
And for my sake and in my name
Live on and do all things the same;
Feed not your loneliness on empty days
But fill each walking hour in useful ways
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer
And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near;
And never, never, be afraid to die
For I am waiting for you in the sky!
