Obituary
K e n n e t h O e r s e y was born on February 25,1952 in
Lincoln Hospital, Bronx, New York to Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Dorsey. He was the oldest brother to his twin, Lawrence.
He attended elementary and high school in New York. His interests as a young man included football, as he played semi-pro football with the St. Albans Chargers and the Brooklyn Knights. He loved to watch western movies.
In 1973, he met Michele and they were married on February 1, 1974. They were blessed with 3 children, Kelly, Pam and Joseph. The family moved to Harlem, GA in 1985.
He became a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church in August 1993. As a devout Christian, he served as Deacon, sang in the T. J. Jenkins Male Chorus and was chairperson for the Recoveiy Ministry for more than 20 Years.
He was immensely devoted to his family and community as can be seen by all the lives that he touched.
Kenneth is survived by his devoted wife o f 38 years, Michele, loving children, Kelly Drewery, Pamela (Shawn) Faison, and Joseph Drewery. He also leaves to mourn his loving parents, Leroy and Nedra Dorsey; twin brother, Lawrence; sister, Donna McConnell; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews; 3 Nieces; 2 sistersin- law and a host of other family members and friends.
