Mr. Grover Cleveland Dorsey was born in Columbia County and lived most of his life in Augusta.
He was a member and Deacon of Antioch Baptist Church.
On Tuesday, May 16, 1989, he departed this life at his residence.
Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Maecile Dorsey; one daughter, Miss Velinda Karen Dorsey; one brother, Mr. Louis Tutt, Baltimore, Md.; five sisters, Mrs. Frankie Rainey, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Ossa Brown, Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Alzora Blakely, Queens Village, N.Y.; Mrs. Bertha Jefferson, and Mrs. Juanita Jones, Augusta.
