& Celebration of Me
A time to be born...
On August 2, 1946 in Augusta, Georgia the daughter of Mrs. Evelyn Donahue and the late, Mr. Rogers J. Donahue, Sr.
a born and named Mary Louise Donahue.
A time to learn, live and love...
Mary attended Richmond County Public Schools. As she continued to grow, she learned lifes special lessons along the way. Mary enjoyed life. A Heart of gold and a Will of iron speak of her strength. She was an honest person and a foot soldier for her daughter, Shannon. Mary was a hard worker but never overlooked Shannon, providing a modest life for her and herself-Shannon was her happiness. She was a caring and loving mother, daughter, sister and a good cook. Nobody could cook macaroni and cheese or pinto beans like Mary. This same love and attention was given to her mother, providing hours of endless care and love. The family shared many days of pleasure and everlasting joy. Everyone who got to know her loved her.
A time to serve...
Mary loved the Lord. She was a member of First Providence Baptist Church.
A time to die...
On Sunday, September 26, 2004, Mary made the transition from life into the presence of Gods domain. She leaves memories that will be forever cherished in the hearts of her loved ones, her devoted daughter, Shannon; mother, Evelyn Donahue, Augusta, Georgia; two sisters, Betty (Sidney) Goff, Long Branch, New Jersey and Ahtea Robinson, Baltimore, Maryland; one brother, Frank (Gloria) Donahue, Augusta, Georgia; devoted companion, Frederick "Mike" McKinney, Hephzibah, Georgia; sister-in-law, Magnolia Donahue; and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
