(HeacfiEr, J&ixixtXQelizt
"I press toward the mark for the prize o f the high calling o f God in ChristJes
PHILIPPIANS 3:14
LBERT WILSON DOCK (affectionately known as A W .) was born on August 21, 1946 in Burke County, Georgia to the late Carlton Junior Dock (CJ) and Pindie Knights Dock. He was the eldest of ten children, with one preceding him in death. A.W. received his education in the public schools systems of Screven and Jenkins County, Georgia.
A.W. Dock accepted the Lord at an early age in Burke County, Georgia where he held his membership under the leadership of the late Reverend O.W. Griffin. Prior to his call to the ministry, A.W. seived vigorously on the Deacon Board for many years. The young Dock became diligent about studying God s Word and in early 1972 accepted God's calling into the ministry. On June 18, 1972, Reverend A.W. Dock preached his initial sermon and was licensed under the leadership of the late Reverend O.W. Griffin. October 16, 1972, he was ordained by I he F.C. Cooper Association and the late Reverend O.W. Griffin was the Moderator. Reverend A.W. Dock began to serve the Lord with gladness and pastored the following churches: Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Augusta, Georgia; Carpentersville Baptist Church, North Augusta and South Carolina; Flat Rock Baptist Church, Louisville, Georgia; Rosier Baptist Church, Rosier, Georgia; Smith Grove Baptist Church, Columbia County, Georgia; and Parker Grove Baptist Church, Rockyford, Georgia.
His awards include citations received from the Baptist Ministers Evening Conference in Augusta, Georgia, and Paine College of Augusta, Georgia.
Reverend A.W. Dock and his loving and devoted wife, Georgetta C. Dock Qoy) of thirty-two years have seven children, twenty-one grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
On September 10, 1984, Rev. Albert Wilson Dock accepted the call as the sixth Pastor of the Berean Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Linder Pastor Dock's watch, the Lord tremendously blessed Berean and its ministries. The church membership increased enormously through his preaching the Word of God, teaching, and evangelistic efforts. '`Where there is no vision, the people perish. "- Proverbs 29:18a
Reverend Dr. A.W. Dock was a visionary man of God. He changed Berean's Motto of "Everybody is Somebody and Christ is Lord" to our Vision: "Bringing, Blessing and Building', our Mission: Seeking, Saving and Serving and our Commitment: "Evangelizing, Educating and Equipping - Making People Better From Life s Beginning to Find.
Because of Reverend Dock's thirst for an understanding of God s Word, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree (magna cum laude) from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania (Center for Urban Theological Studies), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1991. He received his Master of Divinity Degree in 1995 and his Doctor of Ministry Degree in "Renewal of the Church for Mission" was earned at Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, now known as Palmer 1heological Seminary, V^ynnewood, Pennsylvania, in 2007. These accomplishments were not only gained for his personal fulfillment but also for that of his membership. His goal was to continuously equip the membership with the knowledge of Christ so we would be armed and empowered against the wilds of the world.
Reverend Dr. A.W. Dock was a renowned revivalist who preached the Word of God in the United States, the Caribbean, the Holy Land and in Europe.

Additionally, the following ministries have been implemented under Reverend Dr. A.W. He also started his own company, Arise With Dignity Ministries, LLC. Reverend Dr. Dock was a constant reader and he enjoyed probing the minds of others to resolve some of the concerns of our times. This company was established as a conduit to address those concerns through his authorship. Reverend Dr. A.W. Dock was an established author of three books. His first book is entitled, "What Nehemiah Did About Need: Strategies for Surviving Stressful Situations, " the second book is entitled, Keeping Members in the Church: A Model That Works"and the tflird book is entitled, "Leadership That laves" (in press).

. .

After living here many years

I'm going to take a trip

To that fair land beyond the sky

On the old gospel ship.

Each day it carries someone home

Never to return

I have a ticket that can't be bought

But with salvation you must believe

I packed my bags a long time ago

Getting ready for this day

As soon as my name was called

I was on my way.

I cannot come back to you

But you can come to me

For I'll be resting in my home

Where I'll spend eternity.

ECCLESIASTES 3:1-8
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain, and a time to lose; A time to keep, and a time to throw away,
A time to tear, and a time to sew; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; A time of war, and a time of peace.

Please be advised thar 1 have moved , . . I received a call the other day from God, and He informed me that my new Home was complete. 1 knew that my mansion needed some finishing touches and that Jesus Christ had to inspect it and give me the final approval. On August 25, 2008, He let me know that my mansion was complete and that I could move in. So He told me to go ahead and change my address. Well, my new home is finished and what a sight to behold. It is located on an exclusive estate area behind a beautiful pearly gate. Of course you know the streets are paved with gold and every day is Sunday, just like you have been told. Trees of fruit grace my garden here and I can walk and talk with my Master with not a worry or a care. There's peace here, joy, happiness, and no pain or heartache, no strife or discontent, only sweet serenity. I can dine at the Master's bountiful table and listen to a Heavenly choir. And best of all, my Heavenly Father is here in All His Glory; oh yes, I have my own designer here who has fitted me with my own white robe and my very own wings. I could go on and on about my new home, but instead, I am going to pray that you can get to move yourself one day . . . But, before 1 go though, let me give you my new address:
A.W.
60 Heavenly Circle God's Town, Heaven 11946
P.S. I don't have a telephone, but you can always call on God. I f you don't know His number, readyour Bible; it's listed on every page.

Note nf .Appreciation
The family of the late REVEREND DR. A .W . DO CK wishes to take this opportunity to extend a sincere appreciation for the many, many kind expressions of love during their hour of bereavement. M ay God forever bless and keep each of you in His tender loving care. All tributes and acknowledgements will be made at a later date.
