DENT'S UNDERTAKING ESTABLISHMENT
Hands by A lbrecht Durer, the so -ca lle d `perfect artist' --whose woodcut and co p p er engravings were major e x p r e s s i o n s of h is art. He u s e d many religio u s themes, and was noted for his sen sitiv e and detailed drawings. The story is that these were the hands o f someone who had great faith in his ability, and worked to help him attain his artistic training; that in the p r o ce s s, their own hands becam e so gnarled as to be incapable o f equal work; and in gratitude, and because he saw their labor of love as beautiful, he immortalized the hands.
