** OBITUARY **
Cornell Dent was the fourth child born to Mr. and Mrs. W illie Neal Dent, Sr., in Appling, Georgia, on November 11, 1954.
He was educated in the public schools of Richmond County, Georgia. Cornell attended Thankful Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia.
He met, fell in love and two years later married E. Jacqulyn Tubman on January 9, 1978 in Aiken, South Carolina. Through that loving union, Demetris Nicole and Christopher Antoine were born.
Throughout his life, Cornell was known to be a kind and loving person, always wearing a pleasant smile and having a joking word for a friend.
He departed this life on February 2, 1989.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife, Jacqulyn; his daughter, Demetris; his son, Christopher; parents, W illie Neal and Janie ; sisters, Barbara, Athens, Ga., Deborah and Beatrice, Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, W illie Neal, Jr., Miami, Fla. and Gerome, Augusta, Ga.; maternal grandmother, Bertha Gowdy, Augusta, Ga.; mother-in-law, Susie Stokes; sister-in-law, Barbara, Miami, Fla.; brothers-in-law, Matthew McRae, Jr., Athens, Ga., Cornell and Prophet Tubman, Augusta, Ga.; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
