" Then H e w ill also say to those on the left hand, `Depart fro m M e , you cursed, into the everlasting fir e prepared f o r the devil and his angels: f o r I was hungry and you gave M e no food; I was thirsty and you gave M e no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take M e in, naked and you did not clothe M e, sick and in prison and you did not visit M e. ' " Then they also w ill answer H im , saying, `Lord, when did we see Y o u hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not m inister to Y o u ? ' Then He w ill answer them saying, `Assuredly, I say to you. I n as much as you did not do it to one o f the least o f these, you did not do it to M e. Mrs. Lucille Brittian Curry 78, formally of 1653 Floyd St, went home to see her master on February 1 7 ,2011. The wife of the late Eugene "Cute" Curry. She was born March 27,1932 to the late C. B. and Louise Brittian of Washington, Georgia. She was the oldest girl of her 13 siblings.
Mrs. Lucille, as so many affectionately called her, is survived by seven children. One preceded her in death, (Timothy Lamar Curry). Her heart and door was always open to anyone who came. She often spoke of always helping others, because it just may be God knocking at your door (Mathew 25; 4146). Her encouraging words of wisdom allowed so many to run this race of life. Her inspiration and love will always endure within our hearts. She embraced all people the same, none great and none small. She was the greatest mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that GOD blessed us with.
At a tender age, Mrs. Curry joined Gibson Grove Baptist Church of Washington, Georgia. Upon her move to Augusta, Ga., she was under watch care at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Augusta, Ga.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Three sons, Eugene Curry, Jr., Craig (Vicki) Curry, of Augusta, Ga. And Joseph Davis, Atlanta, Ga. Four daughters, Elizabeth (Herman) Jackson, Hephzibah, Ga., Willie Mae Curry, Tammy Curry, both of Augusta, Ga. and Toni Curry of Hephzibah, Ga. Twelve grandchildren; Duboise Curry (deceased), Tavares Curry, Mark Curry, Thomas Curry, Adrian Curry, Aeprel Torrence, Creston Curry, Wykeisha Hamilton, Monica Curry, Ashley Curry, Jeremy Curry, and Justin Edwards, all of Augusta, Ga. and 13 Great-grandchildren. Two god -children; Vanita Jones and Karole Demmons, Augusta, Ga. One sister, Mrs. Eva B. Hawes of Washington, GA; two brothers Mr. Billy Brittian of Washington, Ga. and Mr. Harry Brittian of Kinder H&ok, New York. One brother-in-law; Mr. Edward (Katherine) Stephens of Manning SC. And three dear friends; Dorothy Brown, Roberta Dixon, and David Campbell.
"If you could see me now, praising my Saviorface to face, you wouldn't want me to leave His presence. I'm in a fa r better place."
Love you all,
Moma, Granny, and Grandma Luci

Some people are angels without any wings, Who spread joy around and do wonderful things That's what you are to us Moma. You always did everything you could And gave everything you had. You made dreams come true. You gave us strength, you made us strong. You made us know we can still go on, And with your love we will never be alone.
We love you Moma
Eugene, Elizabeth, Willie Mae, Craig, Joe, Tammy, and Toni

I had an angel here beside me, Sent to Earth to help and guide me, An angel always there for me Sent to love and care for me. She did the things that angels should: She taught me what was bad and good, She doctored me when I was sick, And many another angel trick. Today my angel earned her wings, Her halo, harp and other things. But today I'm lost and all alone For today God called my angel home.

D 'm tj-ive Don't grieve for me for now I'm Free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call
I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to love, to work, or play Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that peace at the close of the day If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full. I've savored much, Good Friends, good times, a loved one's touch Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief, Lift up your heart, and share with me God wanted me now; He set me free. ***************************
