Obituary
Mr. Eugene "Pee Wee" Curry went home peacefully, September 30, 2014. "Pee Wee" is the son of the late Eugene and Lucille Brittain Curry. He was born July 1, 1948. "Pee Wee" is the oldest of his 7 siblings.
"Pee Wee" was preceded in death by his parents, a son Duboise Thomas Curry, and brother Timothy Lamar Curry.
His warm heart made an impact on everyone he came in contact with. "Pee Wee" laughed and enjoyed life. Affectionately called "World Famous" by his brother, there were not too many households he was not welcomed into. He was a phenomenal influence, a brilliant mind, and always had a welcoming heart. We thank God for "PeeWee"'s life on Earth.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Five sons, Eugene Thomas Curry, Mark Anthony Powell, Ruben Darius Jackson, John Jackson and Patrick(Josephine) Dunbar. One daughter, Yolanda(Cornelius) Owen. Two brothers, Craig (Vickie] Curry of Augusta, G.A. and Joseph Davis, of Atlanta, G.A. Five sisters, Elizabeth (Herman] Jackson of Hephzibah, G.A., Willie Mae Curry, Tammy Curry, Toni(William Hall] Curry, all of Augusta, G.A. and Cynthia Sinkler of Hephzibah, G.A. One aunt, Eva Hawes of Washington, G.A. Two uncles, Harry Brittian of Hudson, N.Y. Edward Brittian of Washington, G.A. One God daughter, Shamika Bass of Atlanta, G.A. A host of Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.
Children
God saw you were getting tired So He wrapped his arms around you,
And whispered, "come to me" God gave you rest, God's garden Must be beautiful, He only takes the best When we saw you sleeping, so peaceful And free from pain we could not wish you back.
We love you, Dad.
Grand Children
A precious one from us has gone A voice we love is stilled.
A place is vacant in our hearts Which never can be filled.
And after a long heartache and Many a silent tear,
But always a beautiful memory-- Of one we love so dear.
Great-Grand Children
Thank you for the memories, we love you for each and everyone. Goodbye for now, we will see you soon.
Brothers and Sister
"PeeWee", We are celebrating your life today; the tears we have shared and how much we treasured you. As our big brother you have always protected us, and we know that you will continue to do that as our angel in Heaven. We love you dearly.

!
I'm Free
Don't grieve for me for now I'm Free
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work, or play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of the day
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I too will miss
\
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full. I've savored much,
Good friends, good time, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief.
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief,
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now; He set me free.
