** O B IT U A R Y **
In an old English churchyard there is this inscription: "Whoplucked that flower?" cried the gardner, as he walked through the garden. His fellow servant answered, "The Master" and the gardner held his peace.
Master Benjamin,
Tyler Curry departed this life on Sunday,
November 5. 1989. The Master saw fit to pluck a flower from his
earthly garden.
Master Benjamin Tyler Curry was born on November 15,1973, in Augusta, Georgia, to Mr. Booker T. Curry, Sr., and Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson Curry of North Augusta, South Carolina.
He was converted and baptized at the Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his death. He was an active participant in the church's programs. He will be truly missed.
He received his education at the Belvedere Elementary School, North Augusta Middle School and he was presently attending North Augusta Senior High School where he was a sophomore. He was an active participant in Basketball and Baseball for the Belvedere and North Augusta Recreation Department.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents; two sisters, Pvt. Shelia R. Curry, of Fort Dix, NJ; and Pfc. Marcia M. "Neeky" Curry, Fort McPherson, GA; three brothers, PO-3 Booker Telliaferro Curry, NAS, Glenview, Chicago, II; Mr. Nelson Curry, of North Augusta,SC; Master Stephan B. Curry, Graniteville, SC; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Hattie M. Johnson, North Augusta, SC; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. (Eva Mae) Curry, North Augusta, SC; one niece, Miss Ashley M. Curry and one nephew, Master Anthony Stephen Richardson of the homei one godsister, Joyce D. Mealing, North Augusta, SC; one foster sister, Mrs. Patricia Williamson of Barnwell, SC; twenty aunts, fifteen uncles, ten great aunts, two great uncles, five great great aunts, maternal great great aunt, Mrs. Rosa Williams of Edgefield, SC; four great great uncles and a host of loving cousins and many special and dedicated friends.
