Wednesday evening, May 27, 1987, God sent his guardian angel to take our loved one, Sallie Lue Cullars, home.
Sallie Lue Cullars was the daughter of Mrs. Nancy Cullars. She was born January 23, 1931. She joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Charles Turman.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her mother, Mrs. Nancy Cullars; a daughter, Dorothy Cullars; a son-in-law, Lawrence Palmer; and a grandson, Jerry Cullars, all of Washington; two aunts, Mrs. Lizzie Danner of Washington and Mrs. Rosa Sims of Washington, D .C .; three uncles, Mr. Charlie Danner, Mr. Johnnie Cullars, and Mr. William Cullars, all of Washington, Ga.; one nephew, Eugene Cullars of Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of relatives and friends.

The blow was hard, the shock severe, We little thought her death so near.
Only those who have lost can tell The sad parting without farewell.
Though on earth you are no more, In memory you are with us
As you always were before.
