** OBITUARY **
John Paul Corker was born November 26, 1892 in Burke County, Georgia, to the late John Sr. and Sylvia Bynum Corker.
He was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church by the late Rev. Warren W. Jones, 1913. Brother Corker remained a faithful mem ber until his health failed him just recently.
He departed this life, February 4, 1978.
He leaves to mourn his passing, a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Corker Crawford, a foster son, John Baily, one aunt, Mrs. Daisy Howard, New York City, Mrs. Alice Whitehead, New York; cou sins, Mrs. Mamie Thompson, Mrs. Chanie Appling, Mrs. Pearl Nelson, Mr. Willie Marion Lewis, Rev. Berry Nelson, Mrs. Lillie B. Brown, Mrs. Roberta Carter, Mrs. Ida Taylor, Mr. Frank Ro berts, Mrs. Lillie M. Nelson, -Mrs. Annie Wimberly and a host of other relatives and friends.
Many hearts have been saddened by his going home, And he will be missed by those who loved him.
God is our refuge and strength A very present help in trouble.
