The visits you made comforted us, the sustenance you brought sustained us, the missives and kind words consoled us, the florals you sent brought joy to us, the prayers you prayed lifted us, the songs you sang cheered us, whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you so much whatever your part.
Servant o f God, well done, rest from thy love's employ. The battle's fought, the victory's won, enter thy master's joy .
So in the stillness of the morning October 4, 1992, Linda Owens Cooper left this life to join her Heavenly Father and loved ones who had gone before her.
She was born in Greenwood County April 3, 1956, a daughter of Thomas C. and Dorothy Owens.
At an early age she joined the Bethel C.M.E. Church where she served faithfully as a choir leader and Sunday School Secretary.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Calvin Cooper who preceded her in death. To this union, two girls were born.
She was determined, courageous, and willing to help others. W e bow in humble submission to the Father above with in surance that we shall meet on the beautiful shore. Those who will miss her the most are her two girls, Joslyn and Sharie Cooper of the home; her parents, T.C. and Dorothy Owens, Johnston, S.C.; grandmother, Mrs. Sarah P.
