** OBITUARY **
Mrs. Louise J. Coke, the daughter of the late Mrs. Rosina Gentile, was born in Augusta, Georgia on August 7, 1913 and departed this life Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1985 in Munster Medical Inn, Munster, Indiana.
On September 1, 1938, she married William F. Coke who preceeded her in death.
Mrs. Coke was a retiree of the New York City Transit Authority, where she worked as a clerical supervisor for twenty-five years.
At an early age, Louise was converted and baptized at Thankful Baptist Church. When locating in Brooklyn, New York, she realized the significance of spiritual guidance thereby joined St. Albans Congregational Church. Upon returning to Augusta, she reunited with Thankful.
Survivors include two nieces, Miss Evelyn Golden of Brooklyn, New York, Mrs. Audrey Carbarrus of St. Albans, New York and a host of other nieces, nephews, and relatives and friends of New York and Indiana.
