It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you The day God calledyou home. To see yourface and watch your smile To sit and talk with you awhile To be together in the same old way. Would be our greatest wish today. You left so suddenly without a good-bye But you left us memories that will never die. God gives us strength to bear it And courage to face the blow But what it meant to lose you.
No one will ever know.
