O b itu a ny
How sweet it is at evening after a long day, to close the eyes in slumber and rest from the toil of a day.
It is double sweet, at the close of a well spent life, to turn one's face toward the sunset and quietly sink into rest without waking, except in the presence of Cod.
So it was with Mrs. Eliza Campbell who was a native of South Carolina and the daughter of the late Hamp and Emma Boughknight Jennings. Mrs. Campbell was born December 15, 1898, in Saluda County. She was an active church member until she became incapacitated several years ago, as well as a member of the Young Ladies of Honor of Johnston. Mrs. Campbell was called to rest Saturday, May 2, 1987, at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood, S.C.
Mrs. Campbell was loved by many and will be missed by the following survivors who will cherish her memories: a foster son, John Campbell of Pennsylvania; a step-son, Johnny Campbell of Pennsylvania; many nieces, nephews, step-grand children, cousins, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Abbie Jennings, and other sorrowful friends.
You've left us, Aunt Eliza, and we feel all alone But the love and memories of you will linger on and on. The feelings that we share are unbearable for us today But we'll try to find strength because you wanted us that way. We needed you, Aunt Eliza, but Cod needed you more. I guess that's why He opened up His door. And now that you're in it we know you're with a friend And someday, Aunt Eliza, we'll all be together again. We love you, Aunt Eliza.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me
beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff
they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine
enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
