Meaven 's Jrocery Store
I was walking dozvn life's highway a long time ago. One day I saw a sign that read, ''Meaven's Jrocery Store". A s I got a little closer the door came open wide, and when I came to myself I was standing inside. I saw a host o f Angels, they were standing everywhere. One handed me a blanket and said, M y Child shop w ith care". (Everything a Christian needs is in thatgrocery store, and allyou can't carry, come backthe ne?(t dayfo r more.
First, I g o t some Patience, Love was in the same row. Further down was Understanding, needed everywhere you go. I g o t a bo?c or two o f Wisdom, a bag or two o f Faith, I ju s t couldn't miss the Moly Jhost, it was all over the place. I stopped to g e t some Strength and Courage to help me run this race, but then my blanket was getting fu ll, and I remembered I needed Jrace.
I didn't forget Salvation, which like the others wasfree, so I tried tog e t enough o f that to save both you and me. Then I started to the counter to pay mygrocery bill, fo r I thought I had everything to do my master's zvill. A s I w ent up the aisle, I saw Prayer and had to p u t it in, fo r I knew when I stepped outside, I would run right into sin. Peace and Joy were plentiful, they were on the last shelf. Song and Praises were hanging near, so I ju s t helped myself.
Then I said to the Angel, M ow much do I owe "? The A ngelsmiled and said, "Just take them everywhere yougo. " Again, I politely asked M ow much do I really owe?" The Angel smiled again and said, "M y Child, Jesus Paid Tour B ill A Long Time Ago. "
fo u Wonder W hy l
Tou wonder why I went away and didn 't saygood-bye. I couldn't bear to tellyou
fo r it hurts me when you cry. M y ship came in the night and beautiful to see.
For the captain was ping Jesus a n d Me beckoned to me. I ran across the leeway
andf e l l down at Misfeet. Megently tooljme in Mis arms,
M y rest is now complete.
