PEOPLES EUNERAL HOME MORTICIAN
Hands by A lbrecht Durer, the s o - c a lle d `p er fect artist' --whose woodcut and copper engravings were major e x p r e s s i o n s of h is art. He u s e d many religio u s themes, and was noted for his sensitive and detailed drawings. The story is that th e s e were the hands o f som eone who had great faith in h is ability, and worked to help him attain his artistic training; that in the p rocess, their own hands became so gnarled as to be incapable o f equal work; and in gratitude, and because he saw their labor of love as beautiful,, he immortalized the hands.
