Mrs. May Bell Johnson Bryant, 94, wife of the late Coleman Bryant, died Sunday morning at her home. She was a daughter of the late Butler and Jannie Johnson.
Mrs. Bryant joined New Salem C.M.E. Church at an early age. After marriage she united with the Lockhart Baptist Church where she served faithfully in the posi tions of church clerk, Sunday School teacher, President of the Pulpit Aid, choir leader, and many community organizations.
Surviving are two sons, Reverend Willie C. Bryant and Thomas S. Bryant, both of Saluda; one daughter-inlaw, Mrs. Martha Bryant; two brothers-in-law, Able Bryant of Tampa, Fla., and Roy Holloway of Saluda; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
