"Only God Knows Why "
God saw you were getting weary, He did what he knew best,
He came and stood beside you And whispered, "Come take your rest. "
You bade no one a lastfarwell------You were gone before we knew it. No, not even a goodbye, And only God Knows Why.
He has done his work, He has sung his song, He has done some good, he has done some wrong.
Now he has gone where he belongs, The Lord has willed it so.
