Trenton, South Carolina Rev. R.C. Holloway, Pastor

On Sunday, February 1, 1998 the Lord saw that his work was complete with Mrs. Sophie Williams Brooks, so on that morning at her residence, he closed her eyes to Everlasting Peace. On July 4, 1908, she was born and raised by her belated parents, John and Daisey Williams o f Edgefield County, SC.
At an early age she joined the Shaws Creek Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until she moved to Hempstead, NY., to be with her daughter. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Mrs. Williams was united in holy matrimony to the late, Mr. Fletcher Brooks Sr. in June 1930, to this union seven children were born. Two preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: two sons, Fletcher (Rosa) Brooks, and Robert (Freda) Brooks both of Trenton, SC; three loving daughters, Louise Campbell Hempstead, NY, Cleva Mae Johnson, Johnstown, Penn., Lucille Pope, Trenton, S.C., one brother, Dan Williams, Plainsfield, NJ; three sisters, Dorothy Williams, Daisey Williams and Ann Williams, all of Plainsfield, NJ; nineteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one sister-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.
Thefam ily wishes to thank everyone fo r all acts o f kindness shown during the passing o f our loved one.

" To those I love and those who love me." I am home, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do. You must not tie yourself to me with tears Be happy that we have had so many beautiful years.
I gave you love, you can only guess How much you gave me t. happiness. 1thank you for the love you each have shown.
But now it s time I travel cn aione. So grieve a while for me: if grieve you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It is only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories within your hearts. 1won't be far away, for life ^ces on;
So if you need me, call me and 7 will come Tho you can't see or touch me, I'll her. All of my love around you sort and clear. And then, when you must come this way I'll greet you with a smile and say Welcome Home:!!
