9(ancu Bedyoung `Broadwater, daughter of the late
Tommy and Fannie Young, was born February 27, 1922, in McCormick County, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on May 21,2007, at the University Hospital, Augusta, Geor gia.
Nancy loved the Lord. At an early age, she dedicated her life to Christ and was baptized at the Carey Hill Baptist Church, Clarks Hill, South Carolina. She later united with Bethlehem Mission ary Baptist Church.
She attended the public schools of Edgefield County, South Carolina and was a homemaker.
Nancy was united into marriage to the late Julius Broadwater. To this union eight children were born. Two preceded her in death, Vernell Cummings and Harry Thomas Broadwater.
Left to cherish her memories are: six sons, Henry Broadwater, Herman (Dorothy) Broadwater, Lenward (Frances) Broadwater, Leon Broadwater, Elisha Broadwater and James Nabritt; three daughters, Clarinda (Warren) Mealing, Sylvia (Raymond) Mims and Essie (Ronnie) Collier; one brother, Joseph Young, all of North Augusta, South Carolina; sisters-in-law, Sadie Young of North Augusta, South Carolina and Carrie Morton of Trenton, South Carolina; brother-in-law, Sam Broadwater, North Augusta, South Carolina; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
