"That Beautiful City of Love"
There's a beautiful city built by Jesus on high, The streets are all paved with pure gold; pure gold;
Where no storms clouds can gather, No more tears dim the eye,
In heaven, sweet home of the soul, the soul,
Oft I think of that city with its beauty so rare. And all of my loved ones gone on; gone on; How I long to be with them up in heaven so fair,
That beautiful eternal home, sweet home.
What a wonderful meeting when we reach that sweet home.
That's waiting for you and for me; There we'll live with the Savior and shall
never more roam, In heaven, the home of the free, the free.
Whatjoy `twill be when we gather with loved ones up there. In that sweet home.
That's shining so bright and fair; I'm on my way.
I'm laying my treasures above, can't turn back, I'm headed for that home o f love.
