Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the p ath God Laid for me. I took his hand w hen I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone m u st stay th a t way, I've found th a t peace a t the close of the day. If my partin g has left a word, th en fill it w ith rem em bered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened w ith tim es of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My Life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good tim es, a loved one's touch. P erh ap s my tim e seem ed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now w ith undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share w ith me, God w anted me now, He set me free.
The family wishes to express our sincere appreciation for all the acts of kindness, love, prayers and support shown during our bereavem ent. A special thanks to the family, Tabernacle B aptist Church and special friends for their support.
Sweetie, I didn't get a chance To tell you my goodbye.
God took you very suddenly Sadly, I don't know why.
I thought of you with love today, But that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday, And days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories,
And your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake,
With which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping,
I have you always in my heart.
Love Always, Monique

Theodora was born October 6,1929 to the late Lillie Mae and Henry Darlington, Sr. She was affectionately known as "TD" by her friends and "Sweetie" by her granddaughter Monique.
Ms. Booker was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church until her health began to fail. She attended Steed Street Elementary School and she was a 1946 graduate of Haynes Normal Industrial Institute. She continued her education at Morris Brown College of Atlanta where she received a BA in Business Administration. Ms. Booker was employed with the Richmond County Board of Education where she retired after 36 years of service.
She was a member of the Haynes Alumni Association, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, and served her church as a member of the Publications Committee, E.L. Stewart Choir, New Era Sunday School Class, the October Birth Month and the Les Femmes Fatales where she served as the Treasurer. Most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother and Auntie.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Leon Booker, Jr., three grandchildren, Monique Rose, Leon Booker, III, and JaQuan Booker, and one greatgranddaughter, Kaitlyn Coleman all of Augusta, GA, one brother Dr. Henry Darlington, Jr. ( Juana) of Huntsville, AL, one brother-in-law Willie Johnson of Atlanta, GA, two nephews Reginald Johnson (Jeanette) of Peachtree City, GA, Marque (Robin) Darlington of Newnan, GA, five nieces Yolanda (Brian) Allen of Mableton, GA, Carla (Jeffery) Hairston of Douglasville, GA, Kimberly ( Adrienne) Butler of Fayetteville, Georgia,
Karen Darlington, Esq., of Charlotte, NC, Anauj Darlington, of Huntsville, AL, three devoted caregivers, Mary Liason, Brenda Wright, and Pamela Lewis (who she loved as a daughter) and a host of great-nieces, greatnephews, godchildren, relatives and close friends.
