** OBITUARY **
Mr. Mason Boler, Sr. was a native of Columbia, S.C. and lived in Augusta, Ga. for fifty-nine years. He departed this life Thursday, October 17,1985 at Humana Hospital. He was born June 1,1911 to the late Mr. and Mrs, Green Boler.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mary Lee BolerJune 1, 1934 and to this union ten children were born.
At an early age he was baptized at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church and upon moving to Augusta, Ga., he joined Thankful Baptist Church where he served on Usher Board for several years. He was a retired vehicle operator with Augusta Iron & Steel Works.
Cherishing his memories are five daughters, Mildred B. Ward, Evelyn R. Grubbs, Lillie M. Ford, Myrtis C. Madison, Olivia I. Boler, all of Augusta, Ga.; six sons, Mason Boler, Jr., Richard E. Boler, Sr., David L. Boler, all of Augusta, Ga., (Kenneth L. Boler of Japan), Harold C. Boler and Sylvester V. Boler of Los Angeles, California; two sisters, Carrie Anderson and Lillie Outen of Columbia, S.C.; one brother, Edward Boler of Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Bessie Boler of Baltimore, Maryland and Inez Turner of Augusta, Ga.; one brotherin-law, Marion Turner of Augusta, Ga.; four daughters-in-law, Anita Boler and Cherry M. Boler of Augusta, Ga., Alyn Boler and Olivia Boler of Los Angeles, Cal.; two sons-in-law, Wallace Grubbs, Sr. and Charlie Madison of Augusta, Ga.; twenty-nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
