Mr. Nathaniel Blount was born April 12,

1908 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Esau Blount.

He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist

Church. He retired from the VA Hospital's

Uptown Division. He was a veteran of World

War II and a member of the American Legion.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted

wife, Mrs. Elnora Blount, four daughters, Ms.

Betty B. Bennings, Mrs. Christine Pinckney,

Augusta, Georgia, Mrs. Ma r y Ann Rucker,

Savannah, Georgia, Ms. Emma Tutt, California;

one son, Mr. William Appling, Augusta,

Georgia; a sister, Robbie B. Jones, Augusta,

Georgia, a loving and devoted grand-daughter,

Rhondi Banae Bennings, twenty grandchildren,
