Celebration of Life
But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have
entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
Ronnie Berrian was born September 14, 1960, in Waynesboro
(Burke County), Georgia, to Ruby Berrian Carpenter.
During his early childhood, he joined Fellowship Baptist
Church (Waynesboro) and was baptized on July 16, 1971. As a
statement of his faithful service, he was ordained as a Deacon in
2002. He joined Fairview Missionary Baptist Church (Augusta) by
Christian experience in January 2004, and remained an active and
devoted servant until Sunday, December 4, 2011, when God called
him home.
On February 14, 1997, he united in holy matrimony with
Yvette P. Bryant of Texarkana, Texas.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted
wife; two sons, Ronya and Terrence; one daughter, Kenyarda; two
grandchildren, Indiyah and Malaysia; his mother, Ruby B. Carpenter
ofWaynesboro, Ga.; his father, Alvin Carpenter of Sarasota, Fla.; one
sister, Dotsie (Larry) ofWaynesboro, Ga.; three brothers, Wayne, Sr.,
ofWaynesboro, Alvin Darnell (Pearl) of Brandon, Fla., and Dennis
(LaQuanda) of Covington, Ga.; a special nephew, Brandon; two
uncles, John (Mattie) and Willie Jack (Bessie), all of Waynesboro,
Ga.
He also leaves his mother-in-law, Geraldine Epps of Texarkana,
Texas; five brothers-in-law, Raymond, Andrew of Texarkana, Texas,
Jimmy (Frieda) of Dell City, Okla., Arthur (Tammy) of Texarkana,
Texas, and Jerry (Marisa) of Dallas, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Alice
of Houston, Texas, and Carolyn (Arelius) of Texarkana, Texas; a
godchild, Shimecka Lucas; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-
nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Ronnie was a devoted and dedicated employee of Berkcl &
Company Contractors (Atlanta, Ga.) for the past 23 years.
A stranger to no one, Ronnie was very caring, loving, and
outgoing. He was a man who loved the Lord and on a daily basis
would speak about having a closer relationship with the Lord. Ronnie
would often beam with pride and joy when he would talk about the
goodness of the Lord and all of Gods promises.

Life is but a Stopping Place
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in whats to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journeys quicker,
For some the journeys slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
Well claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord.
