"Be thou faithful until death, and I wil give thee a crown of ife."
Rev. 2:10
Mrs. Rebecca Benson, was born into time February 20,1908 to the proud parents of Squire and Kizzie Wright, who preceded her in death in Lincolnton, Georgia. Being reared in a Christian home led Rebecca to accept Christ as her saviour at an early and tender age.
She met her mate, James C. Benson and was united in Holy Matrimony to him for fifty-one years. After the family moved to Chicago, Illinois, she continued her Christian fellowship as a faithful member until her death.
Rebecca shared her Christian faith and love with all who knew her. Her greatest joy was to make her family happy, which she did even through her illness.
She was born into eternity for a job well done October 3, 1980. She is gone, but not forgotten, for her memory will be safely locked in the archives of the hearts of her loving husband, James; three sons: Willie, Draey (wife Odessa) and Benny (wife Sandra); two brothers, one sister, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, many other close relatives and many dear friends.

There is no death: The stars go down To rise upon some other shore; and in Heavens jeweled crown they shine forevermore.
He leaves our hearts all desolate, He plucks our fairest, sweetest flowers; transplanted into bliss,
They now adorn immortal bowers.
And ever near us, through unseen the dear immortal spirits tread; For all the boundless universe is life- There is no dead.
