-OBITUARY-
On May 26, 1977^ one we loved stepped across the threshold that we call death; but it was only a step into another room, and not a stepping out of the fellowship of life. It was a step into one of the other rooms of our Father's house.
Mrs. Mattie Bennett, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Mack Hogans, was born April 5, 1892, in Columbia County, Georgia.
Those whose lives she Las brightened and fulfilled oust continue on without her.
Mrs. Bennett was the wife of the late Mr. Robert Bennett. In her passing she leaves to nourn her four daughters0. Mrs. Sadie Maude Collins, Mrs Frances Cummings, Mrs. Georgia Ann Sturgis, and Mrs. Laura Mae Marancik. Two sons: Dea. Jerry Bennett and Peter Bennett. Two daughter in-laws: Mrs. Ruth Mae Bennett and Mrs. Catherine Bennett. Four son in-laws: Dea. Willie Allen Collins, Sr., Dea. James Sturgis, Freeman Cummings, Sr., and Bob Marancik. Thirty-ITine Grandchildren, Forty-Eight Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
