OBITUARY
Mrs. Ida Mae Benefield was born in Jefferson County, Georgia on July 23, 1912 to the late Mr. Jim and Mrs. Ida Louise Adkins.
On Friday, February 26, 1988 in the quiet of the morn ing the Angel of Death visited her at her residence, 315 Stapleton Highway, Wrens and took her soul back to the God that gave it.
At an early age she joined Harts Grove Baptist Church. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Jose Benefield to their union eleven children were born two have preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Lipscomb of Richmond, Va., Ms. Mary Benefield, Ms. Glennis Benne-- field, and Ms. Wynona Benefield all of WJrens, three sons, Mr. Thomas Mose Benefield, Mr. Johnny Benefield both of Wrens, and Mr. Lendword Benefield of Queens, NY, one si.s ter, Mrs. Freddie Lee Jordan of Wrens, one son-in-law, Arthur Lipscomb, Richomond, Va., two daughtsrs-in-law, Mrs. Ethel Mae Benefield of Wrens and Mrs. Classie Mae Benefield of Queens, NY, sister-in-law, Mrs. Marria Freeman of Louisville, Ga., brother-in-law and sister-inlaw Harry (Lizzie) Benefield both of Wrens, nine (9) grandchildren, three great grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
