Obituary
Mr. Jerome B. Bell, son of Joe Bell and the late Emmie Camp bell Bell, was born July 9, 1921, Saluda County. He entered into a finality of rest April 8, 1988, Washington, D.C.
Mr. Bell attended the public schools in the Saluda County area; was later married to the late Magnolia Bell and served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII as a cannoneer. During Mr. Bell's military career, he was awarded the following medals: American Theater Campaign; EAMET Campaign medal with two bronze Ser vice Stars; Good Conduct Medal; and a Victory Medal. After ser vice, Mr. Bell made his home in Washington, D.C.
