Mr. Isaiah Bazrter was born on May 8, 1912, in Orangeburg, S.G. He died sud denly on March 22, 1973, at Chester field County memorial Hospital.
He was converted at an early age. While he lived in Augusta, Ga. } he was a member of Rock of Ages Methodist Church. After moving to Cheraw, he be came a member of Lesley United Metho dist Church and was a member until his death. He was a charter member of the Methodist Liens Club of the church.

Mr. Baxter worked for McMeekin Con struction Company for forty years.

In 19l4.0j he was married to Miss Essie Mae Flemiuingj who survives him. Also surviving are a son> Samuel Baxter, and many, many friends.
