MRS. FRANKIE G. APPLING was the firstborn child to the late Mr. Frank German and Mrs. Lillie F. German Sapp, in Augusta, Georgia on September 2, 1925.

She attended Walker Baptist Kindergarten, Charles T. Walker, A. R. Johnson, Paine College High School and Augusta Tech. She was employed as a Certified Surgical Technician at University Hospital and retired after thirty-one years and eight months of service.

She was baptized at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend E. A. Moss. Her church affiliations were, The Lillie F. Sapp Memorial Church School Class, Mt. Calvary Progressive Adult Ministry, September Birth Month Ministry, E3 Ministry and Tabernacle Baptist Church Tlvelve Noon Bible Study. She was also a member of the Sportsman Boat Club.

She was married to the late Mr. Charles E. Appling and was blessed with one daughter. As a loving mother, her patience and devotion can not be given true value in words.

Survivors include: daughters, Francine J. (Jonathan)

Carpenter and Charline L. Appling; grandchildren,

Kevyn McNeil and Byron Dion Appling; nieces and

nephews; aunt, Helen Fuller Thylor; and a host of

cousins and friends.
