Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Charlotte Latonya Anderson, November 17, 1957 - October 19, 2004, Saturday, October 23, 2004, Two O'Clock in the Afternoon.

The Participants of the Homegoing Celebration w
I Needed The Quiet
I needed the quiet
So He drew me aside,
Into the shadows
where we could confide.
Away from the hustle
where all the day long,
I hurried and worried
when active and strong.
I needed the quiet
tho at first I rebelled,
But gently, so gently,
my cross He upheld.
And whispered so sweetly
of spiritual things,
Tho weakened in body,
my spirit took wings,
To heights never dreamed of
when active and gay,
He loved me so gently
He drew me away.
I needed the quiet,
no prison my bed.
But a beautiful valley
of blessings instead.
A place to grow richer
in Jesus to hide,
I needed the quiet
so He drew me aside.

(^Jta r/o//e m,mT, jf(<//b>0// ///w/e/''k'/1 made her
passage into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, October
19, 2004, at the Medical College of Georgia. Born on the seventeenth
of November, 1957, she was one of sixteen siblings.
Charlotte attended the public schools of Richmond County and gradu-
ated from Glenn Hills High School in 1975. She furthered her educa-
tion by attending Paine College.
Believing marriage was ordained by God, she was united in Holy Matri-
mony to James Anderson on February 9, 1976. To their union three
daughters were born.
Charlotte accepted Jesus as her Saviour in 1978 and united with the
Augusta Deliverance Evangelistic Church of which Elder Roy Myles is
Pastor. Upon locating to the Atlanta, Georgia area, she united with the
Fellowship of Faith Church International in East Point, Georgia where
Pastor Wayne Thompson served as her shepherd. Upon her recent re-
turn to the Augusta area, Charlotte united with the New Vision Cov-
enant Center under the leadership of Overseer Kenneth L. Johnson, Sr.
Charlottes mission was to call those persons God placed on her heart
and pray for them. She was a phone prayer warrior and a minister of joy.
She sought the best in everything. Charlottes words would always be, I
prayed and youre covered in the blood! and God is awesome!
Charlotte was employed in Food Services at St. Joseph Hospital before
moving to the Atlanta area where she would become evening supervi-
sor of the cafeteria at Crawford Long Hospi-
tal. She was a hard worker and gave them
sixteen years of dedicated service.
Charlottes passion was her family. She was a
true homemaker. She enjoyed baking and her
delicacies were always in demand.
She was preceded in death by her mother,
Juanita Everson Johnson; a brother, Captain
Retired Robert P. Johnson; and a sister,
Carolyn E. Johnson.
