Obituary
It is G-d who creates you and takes your souls at death; and of you there are some who are sent hack to a feeble age, so that they know nothing after having known much, for G-d is all knowing, all powerful.

Eloise Love Allen was born on June 7, 1920 in Bulloch County, Statesboro, Georgia to the late Sammual Love and Annie Mai Payne. She was a devoted mother with a heart of gold who gave to so many people throughout her entire life. Mrs. Allen was married to the late Willie A. Allen, Sr., her husband of 32 years, until his passing in 1983. She resided at 1122 Phillips Street in Augusta, Georgia for over fifty years until her health began to fail. The residence is now a part of the historical Lucy Craft Laney Museum.
Mrs. Allen was the first Black Matron to workfor the Richmond County Sheriff's Department, and one of the first Black school patrol women in Augusta, Georgia. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church for well overfifty years.
On June 21, 2007 at 6:30 in the morning, the gates ofParadise opened one more time for another one of God's beloved servants--Mrs. Eloise Love Allen.
She leaves to mourn her passing: one daughter; Ms. Brenda Allen, of Atlanta, Georgia; a son, Halim (Wendy) Yazid, of Augusta; two grandchildren, LaTasha Allen and Terry Finley, both of Atlanta; two great-grandchildren, Jabria and Katoe; a devoted goddaughter, Mrs. Alcia (Tyrone) Stokes, a devoted friend, Ms. Viola Elam; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends, including the Antioch Baptist Church Family and the Muslim Community ofAugusta, Inc.
