Mrs. Virginia Alien, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Milledge (Rosa Scott) Golphin was born May 19,1892 in Barnwell County, South Carolina? "
She was converted, baptized andjoined the Runs Baptist Church at the age of 12.
She was married to the late Mr. James Alien.
She departed this life on December 13, 1989 at the Humana Hospital of Augusta, Georgia.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Willie Dean Griffin, Hephzibah, Ga.; one son, Mr. Lonnie Williams, Bath, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Jordan, Camden, N.J.; one step-sister, Mrs. Ollie Mae McGahee, Augusta, Ga.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Luticia Golphin, Augusta, Ga.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
