Beyond The Rainbow
If we could only look ahead of us Wed see somewhere beyond the rainbows bend A happy land where loved ones go to rest For this is where their cares and troubles end This is a place where no night shadows fall Where everything is fresh and bright and fair. Where flowers of love and friendship always bloom And sweetest fragrance fills the very air All walk as equals in this perfect place Love rules in every mind in every heart All things of beauty thrive and flourish there No friends or dear ones ever need to part And even though its very hard for us To say "Goodbye" to those weve cherished much And we are left behind in loneliness Missing a voice a dear, familiar touch If we could call them back, how would we dare Knowing what peace and joy what love is there.
