OBITUARY
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life."
DONALD PATRICK (KING) AARON was born November 23, 1945 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Irene Kelly Aaron and Thomas Aaron. The Lord had mercy on his soul and called him to glory, May 21, 2006.
At an early age Donald joined Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. He was a proud graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School Class of 1963. He was a devoted member of Sunset Homes Family Reunion Organization.
He was employed at University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia and retired after 34 years of dedicated service. Donald met Jean, his life long friend and true love, at work. They were united as one until the moment God called him home. Donalds stern and gentle ways will always be greatly remembered by everyone who knew and loved him.
Cherishing his memory is his wife, Elizabeth Jean OdomsLovett Aaron; three step children: Horace S. (Rolyndia) Lovett, III, Columbia, SC; Doris V. Lovett and Leonard (Cassandra) Lovett, Augusta, GA; four grandchildren: Horace S. Lovett, Leslie E. Burroughs, Jr., Charlotte, NC; Jonathan Lovett, Columbia, SC; and Nyla V. Lovett, Augusta, GA; one aunt, Alzora Philpot, Augusta, GA; two dear friends, BoVJier Samuels and Michael Mackie; a host of other loved ones and sorrowing friends.
