[typewritten text: Dear Friend:
On last evening (July 29th) I presented to the theatre-going public of Jacksonville, my latest effort, a drama of RELIGION and LOVE in three acts, titled, "THY WILL BE DONE". I am pleased to state that the presentation was a great success. With a cast made up entirely of local dramatic artists with exception of myself, the offering was flawlessly presented. The attached clipping will give you an idea as to how the public accepted it. The story is a very tragic one, interwoven with pathetic scenes of sadness, appealing scenes of love, and thrilling scenes of RELIGION. Twice during the piece the entire audience was in tears, numerous times almost on their feet with expectation, and pleasantly received the moments of humor that tended to releive [relieve] the heavy dramatic situations. I daresay this offering in [is] my GREATEST TRIUMPH. I do know it is my best work.

It is now my intention to put the offering on tour with the same local cast, and I would be pleased to hear from you relative to the first open date you canplay [can play] the attraction. My guarantee is that it will sure 'do the business'. Write me IMMEDIATELY, and mention terms.

Professionally yours,]
[Signed] [written text: Joseph Jones]
