Boyd, being payment on account for professional services in re [concerning] suit F. C. Exter vs. [versus], the Etowah Company. I also inclose [enclose] blank receipt which please sign and have Mr.B [Boyd (?)] - sign also, and return to me so I can place the same among my vouchers.
I have not yet heard from you as to whether a new trial has been granted, or whether the case was carried to the Supreme Court.
