- A black and white photograph of the male and female faculty memembers at Morris Brown College. This photograph was taken between 1920 and 1925. Morris Brown College was established on October 15, 1885 when students and teachers met in a crude wooden structure in Atlanta, Georgia. This was the first educational institution in Georgia under the sole support of African Americans. It was named after Bishop Morris Brown, the second bishop consecrated to serve the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME).
