- Description:
- Attendees will learn about the historical significance of the Voter Education Project (VEP), an organization dedicated to funding and hosting voter registration drives and educational programs not only in Atlanta, but across eleven Southern states. This presentation not only details my experience selecting and digitizing materials from VEP, but it also sheds light on some of the challenges and successes in this work while outlining the new skills I gained over the summer. Although only 12 weeks, this internship has positively impacted my relationship to archives as I continue to consider my future career path.
