Mrs. Elizabeth (Nell) Young was born in Love Joy, Georgia, April 28, 1911 to the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Ciarkie) White. She departed this life April 11, 1992.
At an early age, she joined Ridge Grove A.M.E. Church, Love Joy, Georgia. After moving to East Point, she later joined Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church.
She was married to the late Reverend George W. Young, Sr., and from this union, a son was born, Mr. George W. Young, Jr. (Both preceded her in death).
She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted daughter-in-law, Mrs . Jeanette B. Young; seven grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Brady Fears (Jeanean), Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Young, Mr. Brian Young, Attorney Carla Elizabeth Young, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Young, Ill, Miss Danita Young, and Mr. Jeffrey Young; eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-gra ndchildren; guardian children, Mrs. Nevador Price, Ms. Linda White, Mrs. Rita Lyons, Mr. Wesley White, Jr., and Miss Connie White, Ms. An ngi White; fourteen guardian grandchildren; one sister, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Davis (Ciassie), Hartford, Connecticut; two sisters-in -law, Catherin White, and Mrs. L. D. White; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Your life ended so sweet the other day. When death came and took y ou away. Even though y ou may have been in pain
Very little did you complain.
Because we loved you so We wanted to keep you here. There is no need to cry or fret. Your memories we'll forever cherish
And never forget.
