A Celebration of Life, Zelma Y. Wyatt, Saturday, March 16, 2013, 11:00 A.M., Ben Hill United Methodist Church, 2099 Fairburn Road, SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30331, Reverend Richard D. Winn, Sr., Senior Pastor

Notice of}ftfd'ress Clianoe
Dear Family and Friends, I want to let you know that I moved. I received a call from God, the Chief Architect, who informed me that my new home is ready and that I can move immediately.
You know that I have been sending up some timber,
packing up and getting ready to go, but there were some minor finishing touches
on some of the timber that only the Chief Carpenter,
Jesus Christ, could do. Some were too little, too broad,
thick or not enough.
Well, my home is finished and it's such a beautiful sight to behold.
It is located in an exclusive estate area, and it sits on a beautiful hillside
where the entrance gates are made of pearl and the streets are paved in gold.
One thing is very strange-there are no calendars because everyday is Sunday. I haven't been
given an assignment to boss, just yet. This place is really grand!
My new address is: Zelma Y. Wyatt 241 Jesus Way
Godstown, Heaven 20613
I don't have a phone but just call God,
He's listed in the "Good Book" !
You have a phone in your bosom.

g'~ w~ ~~ ~ (endorsed herself as ZYW) was born in
Roopville, Carroll County, Georgia on July 09, 1941. She was the second of three daughters born to the late Mr. Eddie George and Agnes Williams.
In 1945 the family moved to Carrollton, Georgia, where Zelma grew up and received her religious training under the late Reverend A.M. Reeves. She was baptized at 7 years old at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Zelma received her early education at Carroll County Training School and graduated from Carver High School in 1959 with honors and received a scholarship to attend Tuskegee Institute.
In June 1961, Zelma married her high school sweetheart. She did not return to Tuskegee, but traveled over the USA for 17 years as a military wife. During those years she proudly boasted of being the "President of the NCO Wife Club," holding the highest score in their bowling league. From that marriage she had her one and only beloved son.
In 1978, Zelma returned to Atlanta to start her life as a working mother. Having no work experience and needing to take care of herself and her son, the late Bishop Cornelius L. Henderson created a job for her as the housekeeper of Ben Hill United Methodist Church. He taught her to not be the borrower but the lender - to owe nothing to anyone but your kind love. Zelma joined Ben Hill United Methodist Church and began to love the church. She was a member of the Jewels and Partners, Sunday School and her beloved Majestic Choir in which she was a faithful member until2006, when she became ill and had to retire from her position as housekeeper and stop singing regularly with the choir. In addition to Zelma's earthly duties, she faithfully worked 27 years with the State of Georgia, Fulton County Department of Family and Children Services. Due to her illness, she had to retire on November 17, 2007.
Zelma was preceded in death by her father-Eddie George Williams; her oldest sister, Orvis Williams Hill, who was the love of her heart and was her mentor. On Wednesday, February 6, 2013 , at her home in the comfort of her own room, under the care, comfort and compassion of Hospice Advantage, Zelma made her transition to life eternal. She leaves to cherish her memory; her beloved son-Render L. Wyatt, Jr. ; her loving mother, Mrs. Agnes Williams; "baby sister," Wylene Barnwell; five half sisters of Jacksonville, Florida and one half brother of Hinesville, Georgia; brother-in-law, Carl Barnwell, Sr. of South Carolina; four aunts of Atlanta, Georgia; goddaughter, Dina Archer and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
