Life is just a stepping-stone, A pause before we make it home.
A simple place to rest and be, Until we reach eternity.
Everyone has a life journey, A path to take with lots to see. God guides our steps along the way, But we were never meant to stay.
Our final destination is a place Filled with love, His majesty and grace. Today, we celebrate the life of a loved one Who has gone before us, the race she has won.
Her journey has now ended, Her spirit has ascended. Claiming the great reward With Jesus, our Lord.

Josephine P. Wyatt was born August 5,1943, to the late Willie James Pullins and Marie Shivers Pullins. Although not her biological father, Wade Jacob "Mr. Wade" Turnipseed played an important role in Josephine's life during his marriage to her mother, Marie Shivers Turnipseed.
Josephine was united in Holy Matrimony to Oscar Wyatt, Sr. To this union, one child was born: Oscar Wyatt, Jr.
An avid puzzle solver, Josephine found joy in assembling puzzles that contained various pieces. On any given day, you could visit Josephine's home and there on her kitchen table would be puzzle pieces, and the beginning, or even the ending, of a very large puzzle.
Not only did Josephine enjoy puzzles, she also had a gift for playing Dominoes. You could find her at the home of "Mr. Wade," either sitting on the porch or the enclosed patio with other friends, playing the game Dominoes and putting her skills and strategy to work with Leroy Kendrick, her Dominoes partner.
During her last few years of her life, Josephine would walk the corridors at Sadie G. Mays Health & Rehabilitation Center greeting staff, other residents and visitors with a smile and hello and, at times, even trying to tell others what to do.
Josephine departed this life on February 3, 2019. She leaves to celebrate her journey and cherish her memory, two sisters, Malinda Gail (Anthony) Molock and Cassandra Marie Turnipseed (Custodian); one grandson, Oscar Wyatt, III; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie James Pullins; her husband, Oscar Wyatt, Sr.; her son, Oscar Wyatt, Jr.; her mother, Marie Shivers Turnipseed; her father-like figure, Wade Jacob "Mr. Wade" Turnipseed; three sisters, Eleanor McGill, Mary Minnitee and Janet Turnipseed Jackson; and two brothers.
