Mr. Oscar Thomas Wright was born in Rockingham County to the late Thomas Jefferson and Sarah McClease Wright. It was in this county. where he had lived, that he departed this life on Thursday. January 8. 1976.
He accepted Christ and joined the Little Salem Christian Church where he served faithfully until his death. He was a retired elder with a great ambition to encourage people to be humble and Christ-like. He was a retired employee of the American Tobacco Company.
He is survived by a devoted wife, Mrs. Carrie T. Wright; one sister, Mrs. Marian Jones of Reidsville; other relatives and friends.
How blessed is the tie that binds Our hearts in lasting love.
The comradeship ofkindred minds Is like to that above.
So when at last we have to part In sorrow and in pain,
We know we still are joined in hearts Until we meet again. -The Family
