Obituary
Mr. Benjamin F. Wilson son of the late Alonzo Wilson and the late
Emma (Jones) Wilson , was born June 27, 1918 in Washington County, GA.
At an early age, he joined the St. James C.M.E . Church in Warthen , GA. He worked as a farmer and a saw mill worker until his retirement in 1980; providing love and support for his family.
He was united in holy matrimony on August 8, 1941 to Ms. Essie Mae Reynolds. Unto this union, 6 children were born . After a long battle with illness, his soul was returned to Christ on February 28, 2001 at Hancock County Memorial Hospital.
He leaves to mourn his passing, a devoted wife of 59 years, Mrs. Essie M. Wilson; (4) daughters, Ms. Brenda S. Jones (Thomas
Brown), Ms. Viola W. Latimore, Mrs. Mae P. Roach (Eddie Roach), all of Sparta, GA, Mrs. Eva P. Wright (Leonard Wright) of Greensboro, GA; (2} sons, Benjamin F. Wilson , Jr. of Sparta, GA, Bobby D.Wilson
(Gloria Jackson) of Sandersville, GA; (5) granddaughters, Shera Reeves, TaraS. Latimore (Keith Dennis), Shanna Wingfield of Sparta, GA, Pamela Wright and Yolanda Wright, of Greensboro, GA; (7) grandsons, Joseph Wilson (Mary Wilson) of Virginia Beach, VA, Anthony Wilson (Kimberly Wilson), Ronald Latimore (Cheryl Lawrence), Bobby Latimore, Maurice M. Wingfield, all of Sparta, GA, Brent Wright and Leonard Wright of Greensboro, GA; (5) great-granddaughters, ChataBranna D. Wilson, Kabrea N. Wilson, Kierra N. Collins, Taylor R. Justice, Jarlissa Latimore; (4) great -grandsons, Khaleb N. Wilson, McQuarry Wright, Khalil Wright, Cordero Lawrence. Also Tareon and Kendra Burnette and an host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Graphie W. Reeves, a grandson, Eric Wilson, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
It is God's will that the barber shall sleep. He was called away to a land that is free from sickness, sorrow, pain and death . Another soldier has gone to get his reward. He fought a good fight & kept the faith and now has gone to God.
